A graduate of Trent and Queens Universities, Katelyn was part of the OHRI's RCT titled, "The Age of Red Blood cells in Premature Infants (ARIPI)". Currently, she works in the Cardiac Program at the Kingston General Hospital in the role of a Decision Support Analyst.
Karen started at U of Toronto in Health Studies and Human Biology, going on to an M.Sc in Epidemiology from Queen’s University. She worked with Dr. Kathleen O’Connor and Heather Stuart to look at the relationship between breastfeeding duration and self-efficacy. Currently, Karen is at the Canadian Institute for Health Information as a Research Analyst, and is currently contributing to the 2012 flagship report, Health Care in Canada: A Focus on Wait Times.
